Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Download & Install for Windows 8/7 What is .NET Framework 4.5? Where to download NET Framework 4.5? If you are also trying to figure them out, this post is what you need.
The NET Framework 2.0 has been supported for a decade, but it reaches the end of support on April 12, 2016. That is to say, no longer updates and security fixes/patches are provided for this version. However, certain apps and programs still require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run. In this case, you can manually download NET.Framework 2 and install it.
Since the NET Framework 3.5 version contains .NET 2.0 and 3.0, we recommend you check if you have already installed NET 3.5 on your PC. If it is, you just need to enable NET 3.5. If not, you can refer to the following .NET Framework 2.0 download and install guide.
Step 1. Click here to open the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (x64) Service webpage, and then select the language from the drop-down menu and click on Download. Then select a location to save the download package.
If you are running on a 32-bit operating system, download Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (x86) from here. If you are not sure about that, this post provides a guide to check whether your system is x64 or x86 version.
The PortableApps.com Platform and App Store support apps that utilize the .Net Framework. Apps include details about which .Net version they require and the PortableApps.com Platform will automatically check for support before launching the app. It will even offer to assist the user with downloads, which link to this page. If you are unsure what version of Windows you are running and whether is 32-bit or 64-bit, you can select Help and then About in the PortableApps.com Platform and look in the lower left of the About window.
Oracle SQL Developer: Oracle SQL Developer is a graphical version of SQL*Plus that gives database developers a convenient way to perform basic tasks. You can connect to any target Oracle Database XE schema using standard Oracle database authentication. Once connected, you can perform operations on objects in the database.
If you have an existing version of Oracle Database XE, then save your data by exporting it to data files. After you install the new version of Oracle Database XE import this data into the new database. For more information see Section 7, "Importing and Exporting Data between 10.2 XE and 11.2 XE".
If you plan to install Oracle Database XE on multiple computers or bundle it with a third-party application, then you may want to perform a silent installation, in which you download the installation executable and run it at a command line using the provided response files.
If you have an existing version of Oracle Database XE, you can save your data by exporting it to data files. After you install the new version of Oracle Database XE, you can import this data into the new database.
The installation process sets the client character set in the NLS_LANG parameter to the appropriate Windows code page, and this is the correct setting for running applications on Windows. However, this NLS_LANG setting may not operate correctly when running command-line utilities such as SQL*Plus and SQL*Loader in MS-DOS mode. This is because MS-DOS, with a few exceptions, uses a different character set (or code page) than Windows. It is important that you set the character set in the NLS_LANG parameter for the MS-DOS session correctly. Setting it incorrectly can lead to invalid character conversion, which can corrupt error messages and data.
I tried to run setup using "run as..." to make sure the admin rights are used ("protect my computer..." tick was deselected of course).I tried everything: installing using online/offline setup, windows update.
I have found something weird: when I formatted the hard drive and installed windows xp again - the .NET framework 4.0 installed ok, but when I plugged my 100Mbit internet cable - the operating system kind off "locked itself" and the bug returned - I could no longer install .NET framework 4.0 again. There was no reason for that to happen, for example I have windows server 2003 in local network, but I don't have active directory enabled on it or anything like that - the server just has some folders shared and thats all (all server's "features" are default).I had the second pc with the same problem - with XP on it too.
Install run-time components of Visual C++ libraries that are required to run C++ applications. Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable includes bug fixes to the runtime DLLs and also the latest versions for KB 2999226.
According to Microsoft, "You can think of the [.NET Framework ] as an agent that manages code at execution time, providing core services such as memory management, thread management, and remoting, while also enforcing strict type safety and other forms of code accuracy that promote security and robustness." This is a fundamental component of Windows. The.NET technology is evolving and Microsoft has released several interdependentversions and Service Packs for .NET over time. Errors can result when all components are not preinstalled (such as in Windows 10 and 8), when arevision, newversion or service pack for .NET fails to install properly as part of routineWindows updates, or when Windows XP is not up-to-date with both Service Pack3 and .NET framework. To activate missing components of Microsoft .NET Framework in Windows 10:
